The Commando Lock 5001 Series with patented iCHANGE technology features our Solidbody Tek construction: an interlocked and riveted body design that’s stronger than conventional locks. These locks have an interchangeable shackle, instructions may be needed, but it allows for the only 4-sided shackle guard on the market. Compliant with US Military standards for safety and construction, these locks are ideal for all security uses. With a rust-resistant zinc coating and dual-hardened stainless steel, Commando locks can handle much more than your average wear and tear. Chamfered rivet holes prevent the lock from fracturing when they're chiseled and our steel-alloy shackle is far more cut-resistant than your average hardened steel. All Commando locks come with a pick and bump resistant security pin system that can feature up to 10 security pins, and Commando locks are key responsible - meaning the key stays in the lock until fully locked or open 180 degrees. Four full sides of shackle protection make this the strongest lock in its size with 25% more shackle coverage than any other shrouded padlock.

• The Commando Shackle Guard is made of hardened powder steel with copper infiltration.  It has been zinc nickel plated for best corrosion resistance.

• The inside dimension of the Commando shackle guard is just over 5/8”, which is 0.625”.  The actual dimension is 0.645”.

1. The lock needs to have key turned counterclockwise
2. The shackle short side needs to be on left side
3. Insert the long side of shackle up to the line shown on shackle
4. Turn the key clockwise
5. Turn the shackle to closing position and insert into lock base and turn the key back clockwise and is now locked.
