The Keeper KAC1500 Electric Winch is the perfect addition to any garage or workshop, packed with all the features needed for an easy and safe operation. The electric winch is equipped with a 8 ft. power cord compatible with 110/120V AC 3-prong outlet rated for 15 amps or higher. Installation is easy with the supplied mounting plate, cable tension plate, and mount for the 4-Way Roller Fairlead. To operate the winch, use the handheld pendant which includes power in/out, resettable emergency shut-off switch, thermal motor reset button, and 12 ft. which allows free movement while operating.

No Power?
1. Please make sure your circuit breaker hasn't tripped
2. Reset the E-Stop on the remote
3. Check the brushes. KAC15111-1 KAC1500 replacement Motor Brushes, Set of 2 w/holders. Unscrew the plugs and remove the brushes. Check to make sure the spring is applying force when the cap is screwed in the motor. Make sure the brushes are not broken, cracked and are in good condition, No Rust or Corrosion. Look inside the brush sockets and make sure the inside of the socket housing is clean and no rust or corrosion.
4. Check all connection inside the black cover to make sure there are no loose and disconnected wires, MAKE SURE THE WINCH POWER IS UNPLUGED AND NO VOLTAGE OR ELECTIRAL CONNECTION IS ATTACHED TO THE WINCH BEFORE REMOVING THE BLACK COVER. We have had cases where the electrical cords have been pulled on and the connections inside the cover have come loose. The wiring instructions below should help if a loose wire is found.

E-Stop (Emergency Stop) button has been depressed.

To reset the E-Stop, rotate it clockwise (following the directions of the arrows on it) and it will pop out after roughly a quarter turn. This should allow the switch to function again.
