Q: After installation the door it is difficult to push/pull open. Is there an adjustment that can be made to change the opening force?
1. Regular arm/Top Jamb install: Make sure forearm is at a 90 degree angle.
2. Back the spring power valve or "P" valve out until it stops, this will give you the weakest spring power.
3. Try re-positioning the forearm from the center hole on the foot to the hole furthest from the hinge
This is the weakest opening force once these three steps are completed. If its the first few inches that has the most force, could try shortening the forearm a bit more, this will shorten the latching feature but will also shorten the first few inches that are difficult to open.
