Wright Products pneumatic door closer with EZ-HOLD™ option is designed for out-swinging metal, wood, or vinyl screen and storm doors. The special EZ-HOLD™ feature offers hands-free door hold open capability. To engage the EZ-HOLD™ open feature, simply tap the button prior to opening your door to the desired position. Latching Power Adjustment
Installed as directed, the door is in the maximum latching position. For a smoother and quieter latching, hold door open about 8" and push button. Remove the short connecting pin from the jamb bracket and relocate rear hole. (See FIG B) Push door slightly open to release.
Sheet metal screws are provided. Use 1/8" drill bit for all pilot holes.
Q: How does the closer hold the door open?
A: To engage the "Hold Open Feature" simple push the button prior to opening your door to desired location or after your door is open to desired location.
Q: How do I close the door once the hold open feature has been engaged?
A: To close the door, simple give your door a quick push, the button will pop out and the closer is back to normal use.
Q: Why doesn't the door open to a full 90 degrees?
A: This closer has a full 90 degree opening range. After installation if you are not experiencing a full 90 degree of opening check the distance between the door and mounted jamb bracket, it should not be more than 1/4".
Q. Why doesn't the rod fit between jamb bracket to insert in rear hole?
A: Spread the jamb bracket slightly apart to insert rod far enough to insert connecting pin.
