The drilling/hole template is included in the instructions at the bottom of the back sheet. It can be installed on a hollow steel door; the unit requires a standard 2-1/8” bore thru the main door and a 1” latch hole. However, the mortise for the latch can’t be chiseled, of course. It is probably built into the door already. If not, it probably will require cutting a rectangular section and welding support tabs for the latch with threaded holes. This usually requires a pro, and we don’t cover that in our instructions. The same situation applies for the strike; I’m assuming the door frame is aluminum or steel. If they have additional questions and/or pictures, please send them.
